Kat Von D Matte Gloss  //  Steve Madden Booties  //  H&M StovePipe Pants  //  Faux Fur Long Vest  (I couldn't find the exact one but the link is one similar to it) // My turtleneck is purchased from a local boutique but  here  is one similar from Charlotte Russe for only $20! //  Rose Bracelet   This past weekend one of my best friends came to visit from college so we decided to go to Downtown Fort Worth and enjoy the Stock Show! So I've been looking for plaid pants like these for the longest time and I finally found some at H&M! I'm planning to buy some more in the future, but for now these will do fine. These pants are a slim, straight leg so I think it looks best over some tall ankle booties (my favorite shoes) or even some Vans or Adidas Superstars. One of my favorite kind of sweaters is a turtleneck so y'all know I had to wear one, and to tie my outfit all together I threw on a faux fur vest that is...

Winter/Spring Pastels

Lace-Up Flats  //  Bebe Denim Jeans  //  Alex and Ani bracelets  //  VS Matte Lips I'm not sure if y'all can tell, but I am definitely ready for spring and summer weather! I had to take advantage of the warm air once again by pairing my loose, shoulder cut-off shirt (which I purchased from a local boutique and I can't find a similar one online.... but a shirt like this is also perfect for Sunday service!) with my high-waisted Heartbreaker bebe jeans. These jeans are soft, stretchy, and go well with anything. I love the color and they're extremely flattering. I bought my shoes from a local Kohl's and I'm not going to lie, but I was very iffy about these at first when purchasing them. I wasn't sure what I was going to wear them but I'm glad I got the courage to buy them!! They look adorable with most jeans and even jean skirts to dresses; the blush color is what sold me. My three charm bracelets are from Alex and Ani, each of them from No...

Get Edgy

The blue & green flannel is no longer sold but  here  is one similar //  Slayer t-shirt  //  Black denim jeans  //  Vince sneakers A few weeks ago I was driving around and saw all these buses parked and I thought that it would be a unique place to take pictures and I love the way they turned out! The yellow color really makes my dark outfit pop and standout. The jeans that I'm wearing are one of my favs, they're super stretchy and the frayed bottoms is the best part about them. I'm wearing my boyfriends t-shirt (shocker) and I tied it up in a knot at the front to make the outfit more of my style. I'm not sure where he got this t-shirt, especially since it is more grunge than both of our styles, but it fit the look perfectly. I got my cropped flannel when I was about a freshman in high school but there are many looks similar to it in the link above. My Vince shoes are what made my outfit come together. I know they may be a bit p...

Denim Is The New Black

Tommy Hilfiger tee  // Choker necklace is not sold online but  here  is a similar one (plus get an additional 30% off!) //  jean jacket  //  ripped jeans  //  Steve Madden booties Recently in Texas the weather has been below 30 degrees and it is FREEZING. Although, today was in the low 60's and I had to take advantage of not wearing eight layers of clothing at once. This past weekend I went shopping with some of my girls and I picked up these super cute and comfy jeans from Runway Seven. I have been looking for denim jeans that were frayed at the bottom with rips in them and I couldn't help but buy these immediately (for only $60)! I paired it with a Tommy shirt which is definitely not my boyfriends...shhh... and a chunky black belt from  Old Navy  in the men's section because it was cheaper ;)  I'm usually not the jean-on-jean kind of girl but I found that my jean jacket pulled the outfit together and it's really st...

The Big Apple

New York City; a place where everyone dreams of traveling to at least once in their lifetime. From Broadway shows to walking in Central Park, people really don't exaggerate when they tell you this city never sleeps. Although New York itself is breathtaking - to an extent - the holiday season is just as beautiful (and hectic) as you'd imagine. In Texas, where it's just about 100 degrees 95% of the time, I knew I had to look for the perfect winter coat. This casual yet classy trench coat from the company International Concepts allowed me to be flexible with my outfits and kept me toasty. I paired the coat with a knitted turtle neck sweater, a  Roxy beanie  (which I am absolutely in love with), tan over-the-knee boots from Target (I am sad to say that these are no longer available in stores but here  are some that are similar in black or light taupe) and my go-to  lip gloss . These few items made my trip to the Big Apple so much enjo...
