My Boutique Life... Coming Soon!

Image
Happy Thursday! Only one more day until Friday, so close to the weekend!! Lately, I've felt like a lot of online boutiques or popular stores have either been overpriced, cheap, or not true-to-size. It has taken me forever  to find a jean skirt that fits me perfectly and comfortably, but My Boutique Life has changed everything about my problems!! Their clothes are affordable, true-to-size, and the material is a m a z i n g. The clothes are in fashion and some of the cutest pieces I have ever seen. Y'all have to check them out!! Use the hashtag #MyBoutiqueLifeTX to enter and win a $50 gift card (a deal you cannot miss)! Everything you see here is able to be bought from the online store as soon as it launches during Spring. Trust me, you won't regret buying from them! xoxo, Lauren

Austin, TX

Tank Top  (On sale right now for only $2.99!!) //  AE Denim Jeans  //  Jean Jacket  //  Vans Happy Spring Break (at least for those in Texas)!! This past Monday my girlfriends and I went to Austin for a little girls trip and it was definitely worth the three hour drive. The views were amazing and the city itself is so full of life and active, I'm already planning for my future life there LOL. We went to a few different tourist locations, the first one being the 360 bridge. It's about a 10 minute hike up the hill but the view is sooo pretty. Next we went to the famous graffiti park which is something every city needs to have. It really let's out your inner artist and I love how creative some of the spray paintings are. After that, we explored downtown and found cute little shops to wander into and create memories. ATX is truly a special city and if you ever visit Texas or live in Texas, it is a must go-to. On this day trip, I wo...

My Prom Dress

Image
So with prom season approaching us, thousands of girls go to many different stores to try on different styles, colors, and designs. Luckily, I only had to go to one dress store before I found my perfect one. Located in Dallas, Texas, Whatchamacallit had everything I needed and the best customer service. The dress I chose is a Jovani two-piece design and the most gorgeous deep green color. I am wearing a 00 (double-zero) in this dress and this type of design is perfect for a small body type. Going into the store I had an idea of what color dress I wanted, but not any particular style. I am absolutely in love with my dress and it makes me so excited for Prom!! Also, a special thanks to Magic Stitch for altering my dress perfectly. xoxo, Lauren

Kat Von D Matte Gloss  //  Steve Madden Booties  //  H&M StovePipe Pants  //  Faux Fur Long Vest  (I couldn't find the exact one but the link is one similar to it) // My turtleneck is purchased from a local boutique but  here  is one similar from Charlotte Russe for only $20! //  Rose Bracelet   This past weekend one of my best friends came to visit from college so we decided to go to Downtown Fort Worth and enjoy the Stock Show! So I've been looking for plaid pants like these for the longest time and I finally found some at H&M! I'm planning to buy some more in the future, but for now these will do fine. These pants are a slim, straight leg so I think it looks best over some tall ankle booties (my favorite shoes) or even some Vans or Adidas Superstars. One of my favorite kind of sweaters is a turtleneck so y'all know I had to wear one, and to tie my outfit all together I threw on a faux fur vest that is...

Winter/Spring Pastels

Lace-Up Flats  //  Bebe Denim Jeans  //  Alex and Ani bracelets  //  VS Matte Lips I'm not sure if y'all can tell, but I am definitely ready for spring and summer weather! I had to take advantage of the warm air once again by pairing my loose, shoulder cut-off shirt (which I purchased from a local boutique and I can't find a similar one online.... but a shirt like this is also perfect for Sunday service!) with my high-waisted Heartbreaker bebe jeans. These jeans are soft, stretchy, and go well with anything. I love the color and they're extremely flattering. I bought my shoes from a local Kohl's and I'm not going to lie, but I was very iffy about these at first when purchasing them. I wasn't sure what I was going to wear them but I'm glad I got the courage to buy them!! They look adorable with most jeans and even jean skirts to dresses; the blush color is what sold me. My three charm bracelets are from Alex and Ani, each of them from No...

Get Edgy

The blue & green flannel is no longer sold but  here  is one similar //  Slayer t-shirt  //  Black denim jeans  //  Vince sneakers A few weeks ago I was driving around and saw all these buses parked and I thought that it would be a unique place to take pictures and I love the way they turned out! The yellow color really makes my dark outfit pop and standout. The jeans that I'm wearing are one of my favs, they're super stretchy and the frayed bottoms is the best part about them. I'm wearing my boyfriends t-shirt (shocker) and I tied it up in a knot at the front to make the outfit more of my style. I'm not sure where he got this t-shirt, especially since it is more grunge than both of our styles, but it fit the look perfectly. I got my cropped flannel when I was about a freshman in high school but there are many looks similar to it in the link above. My Vince shoes are what made my outfit come together. I know they may be a bit p...

Denim Is The New Black

Tommy Hilfiger tee  // Choker necklace is not sold online but  here  is a similar one (plus get an additional 30% off!) //  jean jacket  //  ripped jeans  //  Steve Madden booties Recently in Texas the weather has been below 30 degrees and it is FREEZING. Although, today was in the low 60's and I had to take advantage of not wearing eight layers of clothing at once. This past weekend I went shopping with some of my girls and I picked up these super cute and comfy jeans from Runway Seven. I have been looking for denim jeans that were frayed at the bottom with rips in them and I couldn't help but buy these immediately (for only $60)! I paired it with a Tommy shirt which is definitely not my boyfriends...shhh... and a chunky black belt from  Old Navy  in the men's section because it was cheaper ;)  I'm usually not the jean-on-jean kind of girl but I found that my jean jacket pulled the outfit together and it's really st...
